Privacy Policy

CoachRugby.app ("we", "us") provides a game day tool for rugby coaches. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

• Account details: your email address and sign-in information (including from Google if you use Google sign-in).
• Coaching data you enter: teams, player names, jersey numbers, positions, injury flags, games, scores, substitutions, issues, notes and match reports.
• Billing: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep your subscription status, plan and renewal dates.
• Technical data: basic device and usage information needed to run the app securely and keep it working offline.

How we use it

• To provide the app, save your data and sync it between your devices and invited coaches.
• To manage your free trial, subscription, billing and receipts.
• To respond to support requests and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Player information

Coaches are responsible for having permission to record information about their players, including minors, from players or their parents/guardians. Keep entries to what is needed for coaching.

Sharing

Your data is only visible to you and the coaches you invite. We share information with service providers that help us run the app (hosting and database, Stripe for payments) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

Storage and retention

Data is stored securely with our hosting providers, which may be located outside Canada. We keep your data while your account is active. You may ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your information, and withdraw consent, by contacting us. You can export match reports from within the app.
